Of the twelve polo associations represented at the Fortune Heights Snow Polo World Cup 2012 at Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club ( "Metropolitan Polo Club" ), many have their roots in clubs that have existed for over a century.Furthermore, amongst the 77 or so polo playing countries and regions, nine of the world’s Top Ten nations, calculated on the number of players with handicaps, appear on this year’s inaugural World Cup list. With numerous top teams taking part, the winner remains to be seen.
